For centuries botanists have debated the origins of the Hippeastrum and Amaryllis, the name of the latter having become commonly used (incorrectly so) to describe both species. The winter flowering Hippeastrum is from South America unlike the Amaryllis which originates from South Africa.

In this example, the creamy white petals combine with a pale green throat to produce a palette that will soothe the soul.

Images are shipped in either reinforced flat-packs or reinforced poster tubes with acid free tissue paper to protect the surface. You will receive your image ready for finishing, i.e., stretching and framing in the case of a canvas (or just stretching), or framing if printed on paper.
