Lisianthus are native to the warmer regions of North America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. The funnel shaped flowers grow on long stems and are similar in appearance to roses. The petals are soft and delicate and come in shades of green, white, pink, purple, and blue. Some are bicoloured. The lisianthus is said to symbolise both gratitude and appreciation.
