FAIRYTALE

IMAGE OF PINK FRINGED TULIP

The fringed tulip is a relatively new phenomenon in the long history of the tulip family which dates back to the 16th century and the time of the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey). Tulips were first exported to the Netherlands in the 16th century where their popularity fuelled a futures craze that ended badly for investors and the economy in general.

In this example, a magical pink bloom with finely incised edges surrounds an ivory coloured centre with hints of blue.

Fairytale is available as a matt-finished limited edition giclée print on fine art paper. You may purchase your image below or first order a swatch - see the page headed FAQs for more information. Please feel free to get in touch with me via the CONTACT page if you have any further questions.
