The Protea family originates from South Africa and is now widely cultivated in Australia and many other countries across the Southern Hemisphere. The protea is also known as the Sugar Bush due to the large amount of nectar it produces.

In this example, the bright red pins form an orderly or harmonious universe around the centre.
